Women in Leadership Panel by Antioch University and SBCC School of Extended Learning

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (April 4, 2024) — Antioch University and Santa Barbara City College School of Extended Learning are hosting a panel titled Leading with Emotional Agility in the New Workforce Culture. A diverse panel comprised of five local women leaders will provide insight on how to navigate uncertainty and negativity to maintain their emotional agility in the new world of workforce culture. 

“This event is an opportunity to hear about real life experiences from women in the workplace,” said Carola Smith, SBCC Assistant Superintendent/Vice President, School of Extended Learning. “We continue to provide a platform for dialogue and connection for our community to learn and develop a deeper understanding beyond Women’s History Month.”

The panel includes Linda Croyle, M.Ed. of Croyle Consulting; Anna Everett, Ph.D. Emeritus Professor of Film & Media Studies at UCSB; Jackie Gardina, J.D. Dean and Chief Academic Officer of Ventura and Santa Barbara Colleges of Law; and Tania Israel, Ph.D., UCSB Professor of Counseling Psychology. The event is moderated by Lois Phillips, Ph.D. Founder of Strategic Change Associates and Founder of Antioch University, Santa Barbara.
